Georgia High School Basketball - Cedar Shoals knocked off by Madison County

The Madison County Red Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars to 47 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seckinger for a AAAAAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, January 13. Madison County will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 64-55 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-5.
The Jaguars (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against New Faith Christian Academy (Stockbridge, GA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, New Faith Christian Academy was defeated by Berkmar (Lilburn, GA), 64-45, in a non-league contest.
