Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS), 53-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Heights upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Council Grove (Council Grove, KS) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Council Grove lost 77-39 in their recent non-league bout against Lyndon (Lyndon, KS)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Osage City Indians (Osage City, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. West Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Lyndon (Lyndon, KS).
