The Charles City Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting King William Cavaliers to 58 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Point for a Tidewater contest on Friday, January 13. Charles City will battle a Pointers team coming off a 68-29 league loss to Middlesex (Saluda, VA). The Pointers record now stands at 1-9.

The Cavaliers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Wolverines come into the Tidewater contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Carver College and Career Academy prevailed over King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA), 89-46, in a league contest.
