The York Institute Dragons basketball team (Jamestown, TN), dropped 59-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN)
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarkrange for a 1A District 7 battle on Friday, January 13. Clay County will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 69-40 non-league win over Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-12.
The Dragons (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN). The Blue Devils come into the 2A District 5 battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Jackson County prevailed over Monterey (Monterey, TN), 53-41, in a league battle.
