The Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting University Prep Jaguars to 48 in the league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Excelsior Charter for a Cross Valley contest on Friday, January 13. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-56 league win over Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.

The Jaguars (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview Leadership Academy (Victorville, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Lakeview Leadership Academy was defeated by Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA), 71-56, in a non-league contest.
