The Community Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders to 34 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Challenger for a Western Piedmont contest on Thursday, January 12. Community Christian Academy will meet a Firebirds team coming off a 75-52 league loss to Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 2-6.

The Crusaders (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage Christian (Hudson, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Heritage Christian was routed by Millers Creek Christian (Millers Creek, NC), 58-36, in a non-league contest.
