With the victory, Community Christian improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC) to confront the Warriors in a North Carolina Christian - 2A South challenge on Friday, January 13. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Gramercy Christian lost 65-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Fellowship Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC)

Next up, the Fighting Hornet confront the N.C. School for the Deaf Bears (Morganton, NC) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
