The Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) basketball knocked off the host Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR), 53-33 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Shirley (Shirley, AR). The Blue Devils go into the 1A Region 2 test with a 19-4 record.
The Longhorns now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Rural Special for a 1A Region 2 test on Friday, January 13. Viola will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 53-40 league loss to Shirley (Shirley, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 2-17.
