The Skowhegan River Hawks held off the visiting Cony Rams basketball team by a tally of 72-68 in Tuesday's league battle.

The River Hawks now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lawrence for a A North battle on Friday, January 13. Skowhegan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-53 league win over Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.

The Rams (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nokomis (Newport, ME). The Warriors come into the A North battle with a 6-3 record.
