The Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Coronado Leopards to 34 in the Eagle league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagle now sport a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Legacy Academy for a A District 7 bout on Thursday, January 12. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will clash with a Silverbacks squad coming off a 85-20 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Silverbacks record now stands at 7-3.

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors (Cuba, NM) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Dine Warriors go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 89-21 non-league loss to Springer (Springer, NM).
