The Marmaton Valley Wildcats basketball team (Moran, KS), was overwhelmed 57-31 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Crest Lancers (Colony, KS)

The Lancers now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chetopa for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Crest will confront a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Jayhawk Linn (Mound City, KS). The Hornets record now stands at 0-6.

The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast (Cherokee, KS). The Lancers come into the Three Rivers battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Southeast trounced Yates Center (Yates Center, KS), 72-22, in a non-league battle.
