Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC), 67-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Crestwood upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Knights host Darlington (Darlington, SC) to clash with the Falcons in a AAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Darlington lost 53-45 in their recent league bout against Camden (Camden, SC)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) in a AAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, January 13. Marlboro County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 45-42 league loss to Lake City (Lake City, SC).
