The Jasper Pirates (Jasper, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Deer Antlers (Deer, AR), 94-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Oark (Oark, AR). The Hornets go into the 1A Region 1 East test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Oark was trounced by Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR), 67-36, in a league test.
The Antlers now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Mount Judea for a 1A Region 1 East test on Thursday, January 12. Deer will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 81-18 league loss to Kingston (Kingston, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 0-10.
