Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA), 60-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Deerfield-Windsor upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA) to play the Panthers in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 bout on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Tiftarea Academy lost 81-45 in their recent league bout against Southland Academy (Americus, GA)

Next up, the Valiants play the Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 bout, on Friday, January 13. Valwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 52-51 league loss to Brookwood (Thomasville, GA).
