In Tuesday's league outing, the Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wilton-Lyndeborough Warriors (Wilton, NH), by a margin of 59-20.
The Cougars (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Red Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Belmont was trounced by Gilford (Gilford, NH), 61-58, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Moultonborough Academy for a Division IV outing on Friday, January 13. Wilton-Lyndeborough will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 48-40 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NH). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
