The Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball knocked off the host Searsport Vikings (Searsport, ME), 52-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (8-1) will now prepare for their test against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the C North test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, George Stevens Academy notched a victory over Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 44-35, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sumner for a C North test on Friday, January 13. Searsport will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 53-26 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 5-3.
