The Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) basketball nipped the visiting Sulphur Bulldogs (Sulphur, OK), 31-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Comets (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Comanche (Comanche, OK). The Indians go into the Lake Country test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Comanche was tipped by Byng (Ada, OK), 40-33, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Madill for a Lake Country test on Friday, January 13. Sulphur will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-30 league win over Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-2.
