With the victory, West Liberty improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Wilton (Wilton, IA) to confront the Beavers in a River Valley challenge on Friday, January 13. The Beavers come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Wilton won 84-69 in their recent league challenge against West Branch (West Branch, IA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Calamus-Wheatland Warriors (Wheatland, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Durant will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 72-61 league loss to Central City (Central City, IA).
