East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), 86-72 in a league bout.

With the win, East Ridge upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Martin County (Inez, KY) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Martin County won 70-51 in their recent non-league bout against Paintsville (Paintsville, KY)

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Appalachian Christian HomeSchool Warriors (Abingdon, VA) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, January 13. Jenkins will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 75-38 non-league loss to Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN).
