California High School Basketball - La Puente can't hold off Edgewood

The Edgewood Lions basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host La Puente Warriors to 50 in the Lions league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ganesha for a Miramonte contest on Thursday, January 12. Edgewood will battle a Giants team coming off a 68-11 league loss to Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Giants record now stands at 0-10.

The Warriors (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bassett (La Puente, CA). The Olympians come into the Miramonte contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Bassett edged Garey (Pomona, CA), 57-52, in a league contest.
