The Emerson Pirates (Emerson, AR) basketball crushed the host Hermitage Hermits (Hermitage, AR), 75-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Strong (Strong, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region 8 test with a 1-2 record.
The Hermits now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bearden for a 1A Region 8 test on Friday, January 13. Hermitage will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 69-60 league loss to Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bears record now stands at 4-5.
