Utah High School Basketball - Wayne crushes Escalante

Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), 59-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Wayne upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Badgers host Water Canyon (Hildale, UT) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Region 20 bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Water Canyon won 62-39 in their recent non-league bout against Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ)

Next up, the Moquis play the Valley Buffalos (Orderville, UT) in a 1A Region 20 bout, on Friday, January 20. Escalante will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
