The Franklin Tornadoes basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Moultonborough Academy Panthers to 40 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nute for a Division IV contest on Friday, January 20.
The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Wilton-Lyndeborough (Wilton, NH). The Warriors enter the Division IV contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Wilton-Lyndeborough was outscored by Derryfield (Manchester, NH), 59-20, in a league contest.
