Kennedy Trojans (Mt. Angel, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gervais Cougars (Gervais, OR), 55-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Regis (Stayton, OR) to play the Rams in a 2A Tri-River bout on Thursday, January 12. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Regis lost 58-54 in their recent league bout against Santiam (Mill City, OR)

Next up, the Cougars play the Culver Bulldogs (Culver, OR) in a 2A Tri-River bout, on Thursday, January 12. Gervais will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 64-36 league loss to Colton (Colton, OR).
