The Gilchrist Grizzlies topped the visiting McKenzie Eagles basketball team by a final score of 54-34 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Central Christian Tigers (Redmond, OR) in a 1A Mountain Valley game, on Saturday, January 21. Gilchrist will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record.
With the defeat, McKenzie moves to 0-13 on the year. The Eagles host Alsea (Alsea, OR) to face the Wolverines in a 1A Mountain West game on Thursday, January 12. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 9-5.
