The Goshen Central Gladiators basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Roosevelt Presidents to 53 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Gladiators now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Jervis for a Section 9 Orange County III contest on Thursday, January 12. Goshen Central will battle a Raiders team coming off a 52-39 league win over Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 4-4.

The Presidents (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Huguenots come into the Section 9 Mid Hudson I contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, New Paltz prevailed over Chapel Field Christian (Pine Bush, NY), 81-53, in a non-league contest.
