Washington High School Basketball - Sultan crushes Granite Falls

January 10, 2023: Granite Falls, WA 98252

Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA), 73-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Sultan upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Turks host South Whidbey (Langley, WA) to play the Falcons in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Friday, January 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-7. South Whidbey won 61-58 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound bout, on Friday, January 13. Granite Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 45-40 league win over Bush (Seattle, WA).
