In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Green River Pirates basketball team scored a good 51-38 triumph over the Monument Valley Cougars.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT) in a 1A Region 23 match, on Wednesday, January 11. Green River will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Buckaroo enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 76-48 non-league loss to Grand County (Moab, UT).
