California High School Basketball - Grossmont ripped by Helix

The Helix Highlanders basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Grossmont Foothillers to 18 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista for a Grossmont - Hills contest on Friday, January 13. Helix will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 61-60 league loss to Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 8-12.
The Foothillers (1-17) will now prepare for their contest against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles enter the Grossmont - Hills contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Granite Hills triumphed over Valley Center (Valley Center, CA), 72-62, in a non-league contest.
