Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX), 51-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Industrial upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX) to play the Raiders in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, January 13. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Rice Consolidated won 71-29 in their recent league bout against Palacios (Palacios, TX)

Next up, the Brahmas play the Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, January 13. Hallettsville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 62-46 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, TX).
