In Tuesday's league outing, the Jeanerette Tigers (Jeanerette, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA), by a margin of 67-66.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Eagles go into the 1A District 7 outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Vermilion Catholic held off Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA), 69-19, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centerville for a 1A District 7 outing on Friday, January 13. Hanson Memorial will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-18 league loss to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-9.
