The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Hayfield Vikings to 58 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southland for a A Section 1 contest on Thursday, January 12. Kenyon-Wanamingo will meet a Rebels team coming off a 79-37 league win over LeRoy-Ostrander (LeRoy, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 4-4.
The Vikings (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, MN). The Rockets enter the A Section 1 contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Randolph nudged Blooming Prairie (Blooming Prairie, MN), 61-45, in a non-league contest.
