The Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Hoxie Indians to 29 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ellis for a Mid-Continent contest on Friday, January 13. Thomas More Prep-Marian will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 58-30 league win over Smith Center (Smith Center, KS). The Railroaders record now stands at 2-5.

The Indians (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Decatur Community was defeated by Northern Valley (Almena, KS), 69-29, in a non-league contest.
