In Tuesday's league match, the host Jefferson Democrats basketball team scored a good 61-51 triumph over the Wells Guardians.
In their next game, the Democrats face the Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland match, on Friday, January 13. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Roughriders enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 87-55 league loss to Lincoln (Portland, OR).
With the defeat, Wells moves to 4-8 on the year.
