The Keith Bears basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Johnson Eagles to 27 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Charter for a 1A Area 6 contest on Thursday, January 12. Keith will battle a Trail Blazers team coming off a 48-43 league loss to Linden (Linden, AL). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 3-10.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against University Charter (Livingston, AL). The Trail Blazers come into the 1A Area 6 contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, University Charter was routed by Keith (Orrville, AL), 59-33, in a league contest.
