The Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) basketball knocked off the host Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA), 69-59 in Tuesday's league test.

The Atomsmashers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 3 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Liberty County went down by Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA), 65-28, in a non-league test.

The Blue Tide now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Beach for a AAA Region 3 test on Friday, January 13. Long County will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 77-55 league win over Groves (Garden City, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-2.
