The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Malakoff lost 57-41 in their recent league bout against Palmer (Palmer, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 bout, on Friday, January 13. Rice will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 62-36 league win over Mildred (Corsicana, TX).
