The Unionville Longhorns basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Kennett Blue Demons to 44 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sun Valley for a Ches-Mont - American contest on Thursday, January 12. Unionville will battle a Vanguards team coming off a 67-59 non-league loss to Chichester (Boothwyn, PA). The Vanguards record now stands at 6-5.
The Blue Demons (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Golden Knights enter the Ches-Mont - American contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Bayard Rustin ran past Oxford (Oxford, PA), 50-43, in a league contest.
