Mississippi High School Basketball - Northeast Lauderdale crushes Kosciusko

Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS), 66-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Northeast Lauderdale upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS) to play the Warriors in a 4A Region 4 bout on Friday, January 13. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Whippets play the West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) in a 4A Region 4 bout, on Saturday, January 14. Kosciusko will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 48-46 league win over Louisville (Louisville, MS).
