Washington High School Basketball - La Salle topped by Toppenish

The Toppenish Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host La Salle Lightning to 50 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zillah for a 1A South Central - West contest on Friday, January 13. Toppenish will battle a Leopards team coming off a 81-49 league win over Wapato (Wapato, WA). The Leopards record now stands at 8-1.
The Lightning (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Naches Valley (Naches, WA). The Rangers come into the 1A South Central - West contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Naches Valley prevailed over College Place (College Place, WA), 89-44, in a non-league contest.
