The Fighting Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. La Joya Community lost 90-53 in their recent league challenge against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ)

Next up, the Knights confront the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a 5A Desert West challenge, on Friday, January 13. Lake Havasu will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 66-57 league win over Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ).
