The Lanier Bulldogs basketball team (Jackson, MS), was toppled 61-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host McComb Tigers (McComb, MS)
The Tigers now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Raymond for a 4A Region 6 battle on Friday, January 13. McComb will confront a Rangers team coming off a 75-22 league win over North Pike (Summit, MS). The Rangers record now stands at 13-6.
The Bulldogs (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against South Pike (Magnolia, MS). The Eagles come into the 4A Region 6 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, South Pike beat Wingfield (Jackson, MS), 49-39, in a league battle.
