Virginia High School Basketball - Lord Botetourt can't hold off Northside

The Northside Vikings basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Lord Botetourt Cavaliers to 61 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge contest on Friday, January 13. Northside will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 68-40 league loss to Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-11.
The Cavaliers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, James River edged Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 58-48, in a league contest.
