Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trinity Chargers (Midland, TX), 80-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Eagles host Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX) to play the Mustangs in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout on Friday, January 13. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Fellowship Academy won 58-39 in their recent league bout against Trinity (Midland, TX)

Next up, the Chargers play the Temple Christian Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout, on Friday, January 13. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 44-30 league loss to Covenant Classical (Fort Worth, TX).
