The Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Lutheran Trojans to 29 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River Springs for a Tri-County Premier contest on Thursday, January 12. Mesa Grande Academy will battle a team coming off a 62-17 league win over River Springs Charter School (Temecula, CA). The record now stands at 1-3.

The Trojans (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Loma Linda Academy (Loma Linda, CA). The Roadrunners come into the Tri-County Premier contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Loma Linda Academy triumphed over Redlands Adventist Academy (Redlands, CA), 52-48, in a league contest.
