The Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) basketball nipped the visiting MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), 63-62 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (15-9) will now prepare for their test against Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX). The Rangers go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 14-9 record. In their last test, Dallas Jesuit was tipped by Richardson (Richardson, TX), 74-57, in a league test.

The Cardinals now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they host Berkner for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Friday, January 13. MacArthur will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 57-51 league loss to Irving (Irving, TX). The Rams record now stands at 4-16.
