Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tyngsborough Tigers (Tyngsborough, MA), 58-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maynard upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers host Clinton (Clinton, MA) to play the Gaels in a Midland-Wachusett C bout on Friday, January 13. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Clinton won 67-62 in their recent non-league bout against Hudson (Hudson, MA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Quabbin Regional Panthers (Barre, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett C bout, on Thursday, January 12. Tyngsborough will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 54-31 league loss to Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA).
