McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets (Spartanburg, SC), 65-7 in a league bout.

With the victory, McCormick upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC) to play the Blue Flashes in a A Region 2 bout on Friday, January 13. The Blue Flashes come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Calhoun Falls Charter won 77-33 in their recent league bout against Whitmire (Whitmire, SC)

Next up, the Hornets play the Dixie Hornets (Due West, SC) in a A Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 13. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
