Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Palmyra topped by Mechanicsburg

The Mechanicsburg Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Palmyra Cougars to 54 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milton Hershey for a Mid-Penn - Keystone contest on Friday, January 13. Mechanicsburg will battle a Spartans team coming off a 51-41 league win over Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-0.
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hershey (Hershey, PA). The Trojans come into the Mid-Penn - Keystone contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Hershey was defeated by Central York (York, PA), 79-60, in a non-league contest.
