Texas High School Basketball - Princeton knocked off by Melissa

The Melissa Cardinals basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Princeton Panthers to 66 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKinney North for a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, January 13. Melissa will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 45-40 league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-11.
The Panthers (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Lions enter the 5A Region II District 13 contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Greenville was outscored by Denison (Denison, TX), 59-54, in a league contest.
